EAGAN, Minn. — Linebacker Anthony Barr is planning to retire after spending most of his profession with the Minnesota Vikings, in response to a social media post from his Elevate the Barr group.
Barr, 33, final performed in 2023. He has not but commented on the choice.
The Vikings made Barr the No. 9 total choose of the 2014 draft, their first choice after hiring defensive-minded Mike Zimmer as their head coach. Barr match the kind of versatile off-ball linebacker Zimmer thought-about important for his scheme.
