“In help of the President's directive to dismantle Transnational Prison Organizations (TCOs) and counter narco-terrorism in protection of the Homeland, the Secretary of Battle has directed the Gerald R. Ford Service Strike Group and embarked provider air wing to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) space of accountability (AOR),” chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell mentioned in an announcement Friday.
“The improved U.S. drive presence within the USSOUTHCOM AOR will bolster U.S. capability to detect, monitor, and disrupt illicit actors and actions that compromise the protection and prosperity of the USA homeland and our safety within the Western Hemisphere,” he added. “These forces will improve and increase current capabilities to disrupt narcotics trafficking and degrade and dismantle TCOs.”
