Amritsar (Rural) police has arrested Mehakdeep Singh and Aditya after recovering a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) and launcher from their possession. Preliminary investigations counsel that the suspects had been in contact with a Pakistan-based ISI operative who allegedly despatched the consignment through drone. The RPG was reportedly meant for a focused terror assault. The accused had been appearing on the instructions of Harpreet Singh alias Vicky, presently lodged in Ferozepur Jail.
