NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans are releasing veteran large receiver Tyler Lockett, a supply informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Lockett, 33, requested for his launch and was granted it Monday, the supply stated. Lockett is anticipated to be free to signal with one other group after 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
Lockett signed a one-year deal value as much as $6 million with the Titans in April. Tennessee had hoped Lockett would deliver a veteran presence to the receiver room and assist rookie quarterback Cam Ward get acclimated to the NFL.
