Prohibitory orders had been imposed in a village in Jharkhand's Palamu district on Monday following a conflict between two teams throughout Muharram procession, an official mentioned.
No less than three individuals had been injured within the conflict that occurred in Palhe village within the Patan police station space on Sunday night.
“Prohibitory orders underneath Part 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, earlier part 144 of CrPC, have been imposed for 48 hours from 6 am on Monday within the village as a precautionary measure,” Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sameera S informed PTI.
She mentioned that the individuals concerned within the incident are being recognized and statements of the injured are being recorded.
The peace committee is working within the space to calm the state of affairs.
