The Prime Minister mentioned the federal government has recognized 100 districts lagging in farming and launched a marketing campaign to empower farmers underneath the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana.
“If just a little assistance is given to these farmers in 100 districts underneath the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, then the farmers there may even be on par with different farmers of India,” he mentioned.
The PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana, authorised by the Cupboard on July 16 with an annual price range of Rs 24,000 crore, goals to remodel 100 low-performing agricultural districts throughout India by enhancing productiveness, selling crop diversification, increasing storage and irrigation amenities, and boosting credit score entry for farmers.

Agricultural exports have crossed Rs 4 lakh crore, the Prime Minister added.
