An NYPD officer was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn on Sunday night, in keeping with authorities.

The unidentified cop was directing visitors at Church Avenue and Schenectady Avenue in East Flatbush round 8:30 p.m. when a driver in a black sedan with an orange license plate struck the officer from behind, in keeping with the NYPD.
The motive force then fled the scene and stays on the lam, police stated.
The officer was transported to Kings County Hospital and is in secure situation, cops stated.
