NEW DELHI: A Saudia Airways flight from Jakarta to Medina made an emergency touchdown at Thiruvananthapuram Worldwide Airport in Kerala on Sunday. In accordance with airport authorities, Saudia flight 821 was diverted after a passenger fell unconscious and the crew reported the medical state of affairs mid-air. The plane touched down round 6.30 pm. The passenger, an Indonesian nationwide, was instantly rushed to Ananthapuri Hospital. Hospital officers mentioned the passenger arrived with complaints of chest ache and is at present being handled within the emergency unit, reported PTI. ECG and blood exams are being carried out to evaluate the situation. Airport authorities added that the flight is anticipated to depart for Medina shortly.
