The rollback was notified by the state Medical Training Division on Wednesday, with the federal government clarifying that the quota shall be relevant provided that the Central authorities and respective councils improve current seats.
“For MBBS/BAMS/BDS/BHMS and BUMS programs, this reservation shall be relevant provided that the Central Authorities, respective councils improve current seats. For programs apart from MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS and BUMS programs, the ten per cent EWS reservation shall be relevant on out there seats,” the Medical Training Division said.
Final week, when the Maharashtra Frequent Entrance Check (CET) Cell declared graduation of admissions for medical undergraduate (UG) programs, the knowledge brochure indicated implementation of the ten per cent EWS reservation in personal medical schools.
