The Bengaluru-bound personal bus caught hearth within the wee hours of October 24 after colliding with a two-wheeler. The blaze was triggered after the motor bike — with its gasoline cap open — was dragged beneath the car, leaving 19 individuals useless.
“We've arrested V Vinod Kumar after which produced him in a neighborhood court docket which granted him bail, after listening to arguments that every one violations have been scheduled compoundable offences beneath the Motor Automobiles (MV) Act,” Kurnool Vary Deputy Inspector Normal (DIG) of police Koya Praveen informed PTI.
Kumar was booked beneath Sections 105 and 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Act, together with a number of MV Act violations, he mentioned.
In line with police, the proprietor knowingly made structural alterations to the bus that amounted to fees of culpable murder.
Police noticed that the sleeper coach design obstructed the emergency exit door and different hearth security measures.
