A items prepare travelling from Jammu to Punjab derailed in Jammu and Kashmir's (J-Ok) Kathua district on Thursday morning following heavy rainfall and a landslide, officers mentioned.
The incident occurred close to the Lakhanpur space of Kathua after particles from a landslide fell onto the railway monitor.
“Because of the rain, a landslide occurred, and all of the particles got here onto the monitor. Because of this, the prepare received derailed,” Ram Bahadur, a railway trackman, advised ANI.
Upon receiving data, railway officers rushed to the spot and initiated operations to clear the particles and restore prepare motion on the affected route.
