Union Minister Piyush Goyal introduced that India and the European Union have made substantial progress of their Free Commerce Settlement (FTA) negotiations, with 10 out of 20 chapters closed and several other others nearing convergence. Talking after the Berlin World Dialogue, Goyal mentioned the talks are transferring in direction of a good, equitable and balanced deal that recognises mutual sensitivities and strengthens commerce, funding, and expertise ties. He additionally emphasised India's rising world stature beneath PM Modi, calling the nation a voice of the World South and a hub of youth, innovation, and sustainable development.
