The native Meteorological workplace has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains in remoted areas of the state on Monday and Tuesday.

Moreover, 284 energy distribution transformers and 210 water provide schemes have been affected throughout the state, the SEOC mentioned.
Because the onset of the monsoon on June 20 till August 2, the state has incurred losses totalling Rs 1,692 crore.To date, there have been 101 reported deaths on account of rain-related incidents, with 36 folks nonetheless lacking. The fatalities embrace 20 drownings, 19 deaths from falls, 17 deaths from cloudbursts, eight from flash floods, and 5 from landslides.
