Aside from the Air India airplane crash on June 12 that killed 260 individuals, there have been three trainee plane accidents and 4 helicopter accidents.
 Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol informed the Lok Sabha that the reason for these accidents is underneath probe by the Plane Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
“There have been a complete of 08 accidents (involving 1 scheduled plane, 3 trainee plane and 4 helicopters) reported within the yr 2025 (until date),” he mentioned in a written reply.
On April 22, one individual was killed in a helicopter accident in Gujarat, whereas on Could 8, six individuals died in a chopper crash in Uttarakhand. In one other helicopter accident in Uttarakhand, seven individuals have been killed on June 15.

“India has ratified the Montreal Conference, 1999 by making amendments to the Carriage by Air Act, 1972 in 2009.
