NEW DELHI: The fee for air high quality administration (CAQM) in Delhi-NCR has imposed Stage-I of the graded response motion plan (GRAP) after the air high quality index (AQI) within the area dropped to 211, categorising it as ‘poor', in line with a press release launched by the fee.The transfer which comes simply days forward of Diwali, follows the newest forecast by the India meteorological division (IMD) and Indian institute of tropical meteorology (IITM), which predict continued poor air high quality within the coming days.The sub-committee on GRAP reviewed the air high quality scenario on Tuesday and determined to implement all measures beneath Stage-I of the GRAP with speedy impact throughout the nationwide capital area (NCR).
