{A photograph} of the revenue certificates issued to Ramswaroop (45), a resident of Nayagaon village underneath Kothi tehsil of Satna district, full with the tehsildar's signature, surfaced on social media this week.
The doc, issued with the signature of Tehsildar Saurabh Dwivedi on July 22, was circulated extensively on social media, with netizens calling Ramswaroop the “poorest man within the nation”.
Officers quickly scrambled into motion, and by July 25, a brand new certificates was issued, boosting the farmer's reported annual revenue to Rs 30,000, i.e., Rs 2,500 monthly.
The unique certificates implied Ramswaroop earned 25 paise a month.
“It was a clerical error, which has been corrected. A brand new revenue certificates has been issued,” Dwivedi clarified.The Madhya Pradesh Congress pounced on the blunder, sharing the unique certificates on X.”In MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's rule, we found India's poorest man! “Is not it surprising? A mission to make individuals poor? As a result of now the chair itself eats the fee,” it alleged.
