Bihar railway and highway connectivity initiatives get cupboard nod

The Cupboard Committee on Financial Affairs (CCEA) authorised two transport infrastructure initiatives value over Rs 7,000 crore to enhance connectivity in Bihar and adjoining states Wednesday. Mokama-Munger part of the Buxar-Bhagalpur Excessive-Pace Hall on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) protecting 82.4 km for Rs. 4,447.38 crore bought the cupboard nod. Doubling of Bhagalpur – Dumka – Rampurhat single railway line Part (177 km) in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal for Rs.3,169 crore additionally bought authorised.

“These initiatives will higher connectivity in Bihar and adjoining areas,” mentioned Union Railways, Data Expertise, and Data Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
