Bihar's Bhagalpur was a political battlefield as Union Residence Minister Amit Shah and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi addressed rallies forward of the second section of Meeting elections. Whereas Amit Shah alleged that ‘Lalu's social gathering has been worn out' and warned voters in opposition to bringing again ‘riots and jungle raj' by supporting Shahabuddin's son, Rahul Gandhi countered with accusations of ‘vote theft' by the BJP in earlier elections and in Haryana. He claimed that ‘Bihar has been was India's labourer.'
