The Arunachal Pradesh Medicine Management has issued an advisory prohibiting the sale, distribution and inventory of Coldrif cough syrup, manufactured by Sresan Pharmaceutical, the official stated.
The advisory has been issued following studies linking the cough syrup to little one deaths in different states, together with Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and common advisory for rational use of the cough syrup in paediatric inhabitants by the Director Basic of Well being Providers, Authorities of India, Arunachal Pradesh Medicine Controller Dr Komling Perme stated.
The Well being division has directed stockists/retailers that the product shouldn't be bought, bought or stocked for public consumption.
