The commerce ministry's arm, Agricultural and Processed Meals Merchandise Export Growth Authority (APEDA), has determined to open its three new regional workplaces in Patna, Dehradun and Raipur to help agricultural exporters, an official stated.
At current, the Delhi-headquartered authority has 16 regional workplaces in cities, together with Bengaluru, Srinagar, Jammu, Ladakh, Guwahati, Mumbai, Varanasi, Kochi and Bhopal.
The features of the authority embrace improvement of industries referring to a sure variety of merchandise for export, registration of individuals as exporters of these merchandise, fixing of requirements, enhancing packaging, and advertising and marketing.
The official stated the brand new workplaces would promote shipments by agricultural exporters.
