Eight individuals had been killed and 4 others injured in a head-on collision between a mini-van and a truck on the outskirts of Patna on Saturday, police stated.
The accident happened within the early hours in Shahjahanpur close to the Patna-Nalanda border, they stated.
Among the many deceased had been seven ladies, they added.
The injured had been admitted to a close-by authorities hospital, stated SP (Rural) Vikram Singh.
“The driving force of the truck managed to flee from the spot,” he stated.
