The EU slapped the punitive actions towards the corporations as a part of its nineteenth package deal of sanctions that are a part of efforts to place financial stress on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.
There was no instant response from Indian officers to the EU motion.
An EU readout stated the European Council has recognized 45 new entities “immediately supporting” Russia's navy and industrial complicated by “enabling the circumvention of export restrictions on laptop numerical management (CNC) machine instruments, microelectronics, unmanned aerial automobiles (UAVs) and different superior expertise objects”.
“These entities might be topic to tighter export restrictions with regard to dual-use items, in addition to objects which could typically contribute to the technological enhancement of Russia's defence sector,” it stated.
“Seventeen of those entities are positioned in third nations aside from Russia,” it stated. Out of those 17 entities, 12 are in China, together with Hong Kong, three in India and two in Thailand, the EU stated.
The assertion on the nineteenth package deal of sanctions recognized the three Indian corporations as Aerotrust Aviation Personal Restricted, Ascend Aviation India Personal Restricted and Shree Enterprises.
